Juliet Blake got in touch with me around August 2001, to let me know that she had used 'In The Pulse Of An Artery' in conjunction with an exhibition of her paintings depicting the stages of a mediaeval battle. 'Pulse...' was used along with the painting that signified 'pre-battle meditation'.

When Juliet sent me the series of paintings via e-mail I loved them straight away. When I then received the original painting through the post, completely out of the blue, I was overwhelmed. It's an exceptionally special piece of work, which hangs serenely on my wall at home.

Juliet works as a radiographer in Cornwall and she is also a photographer of Jazz musicians. She is currently studying for a degree in Fine Art, with an interest in synesthesic interpretation of music.

For a more detailed and accurate account of these paintings and her work, please contact Juliet directly here

I hope you like her work as much as I do.

The original painting can be found on the first page, along with her interpretation of 'Forty Years To Find A Voice' and another piece of hers that I love very much, her very personal, dogma free and non-judgemental view of 'The Twin Towers'.
